Solve : Is this normal??

Answer»

after a clean format c:\ and a clean install without Internet but with Sygate and AVG INSTALLED from .rar FILES...W2K (official one, paid for...build 2095 + SP1...lol...)and before you see the other items on the pic....they became reality after making a pic of this incredible stupid registry...lol...I had the impression most of the registry numbers here on RegCure would be in the zero's?? And yes even before I patched W2K with SP4 and the other 175 patches...lol...
I would not put to much store into this type of utility software, as unless you know what you are looking at you can panic and read the info as faults, without knowing the hardware ands oftware etc installed in your pc its very difficult to judge but do not JUMP to conclusions. nothing in the report looks bad.
a windows Registry is a complete note/list/order of the computer its communication system, software, hardware, everything and it is extremely difficult to give an easy guide to such a complicated data store,
don't panic, is the computer working, is the network and internet working, is there ay problem with the computer?Ignore it, it's probably another scam program with lots of false positives.
So in other words, yes it's normal, no don't worry about it.If you want a legitimate free registry cleaner, try CCleaner.Win2K is up to SP4...has been for awhile. I'd suggest grabbing those updates.

I'm also curious why Sygate and AVG were .rar files as they are free ....you may not be as protected as you think.Patio, think you misunderstand

the sygate and avg software came from another disc (most of my other warez are in .rar form...)and my original disc had only SP1 so I updated it as you can read....just wondered about the lots of figures have a nice weekendQuote

with Sygate and AVG installed from .rar files...

The above is what you stated...Warez beget crappola. You have proven it. Filesharing programs...warez...programs packed in rar files that nomally aren't... You might want to RECONSIDER how protected you might be...umm... doesn't he mean he's backed up warez in the .rar format on another disc? i think he does. in which case, you may well be perfectly protected. i use AVG also and i like it,especially the free aspect of the program. but the other program he mentioned sort of seems suspicious...Well, even if that is the case, he's still using warez that could be infectious.

Peterwolfe,
I suggest you update AVG and scan in Safe Mode when you get a chance. And give CCleaner a try and see what it comes up with.
