Plus only 142 people ever had it.....143 LOLNotice how there wasn't any... I really want to check if windows Vista is better then windows XP. Personally, I would like to use windows Vista. How about you? They wised up a bit then too! if (OS = "Vista") { Format C:\ INSTALL Virus; Run Virus; echo "Your computer has been improved"; } elseif (OS = "XP") { if (User = "hardcoregamer" || User = "tweaker" || User = "poweruser" || PCSpecs = "low") { Run CleanJunk('MicrosoftServices'); echo "Your computer has been optimized"; } elseif (User = "prettieslover" || User="networker" || User = "directx10graphics" || User = "multitasker") { if (!duelboot) { Format C:\ } Install Win7('Ultimate'); echo "Your computer has been updated"; } }I've yet to SEE a language that uses braces for delimiting code blocks that also uses the = sign for equality. I also didn't explicitly say "Windows 3.0" for the first one, Or the various DOS versions, because I didn't want to. I also didn't cover Mac OS versions, because I didn't want to (and also, Mac Classic is better then OSX in many ways IMO). I didn't include Vista because I thought I had made my point. What was my point? That people ALWAYS complain about the new OS version, how they don't like it, how it's a "memory hog". For example, (Windows 95 was CALLED a "memory hog" for having a recommended RAM amount of 8MB); Windows 3.1 was given the same name for requiring about 2MB to do anything useful, and so on. When People haven't the first clue about the history of the products they purchase, it tends to repeat itself. And there you have it... Unfortunately a Forum atmosphere leaves no guarantees that people will actualy understand what you are trying to convey... I've been brutally funny 17 times this month alone...i think it was picked up on once.....last parting shot. For tonight. Quote ..wthey don't like it, how it's a "memory hog". Did anybody notice that Windows 7 takes less Drive space than Vista? Or was I dreaming. |
