Answer» When I turn on my computer or RESTART my computer, it comes to a black screen CALLED boot up screen. ???it has several options normal mode. safe mode ect. I select 1 for normal mode. and it works FINE. But why is it going to the boot up screen. It never did this before. It would automatically open up to normal mode. Any help would be great. Thanks! It is staying stuck on dell startup screen. I press enter after WAITING a while then it goes to the boot device menu where I have to select 1 for normal mode and enter. Then starts up fine. Never happened before. Please tell us more about the computer and the problem. When did the problem start? Have you noticed or changed anything previous to the problem starting? Like installing or removing software/hardware for example. What is the model number of that Dell? What version of Windows are you using?
