Solve : Java 6 update 17 will not download?

Answer» Installed in W7 is Java 6 u16, but when TRYING to install latest update 17 it wont work...there isnt a mentioning that W7 is compatible, just Vista, XP etc. Anyone else with that problem? Using Opera v 10.01 as browser....Java 6 Update 17 is definitely compatible with WIN 7, at least if you're using IE. See http://www.java.com/en/download/inc/windows_new_ie.jsp. I don't know about Opera. Ah, I found this: http://www.opera.com/support/kb/view/375/. It says: "Opera uses the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on your system directly instead of using the plug-in to RUN Java applets. It is not possible to use the Java plug-in with Opera."oh, wow.....lol. which means I have to uninstall it than, I downloaded it from another source....it was installed but as aid Sun java says: ooops, you have no java se 6 up17 on your PC....
