Solve : Kernel32.dll? |
|
Answer» Hi. I have a problem when I trying to install some program (Internet Explorer or to run. That's about an entry point for I think more info will be needed... Yes, I'm trying to install IE8 but I can't because of Kernel32. Windows don't say more than what I wrote in my first post.In Help/About Windows from the file MENU what Win version and service packs are listed ?It's Windows XP Home. I watched for the SP in System Information but I saw nothing about that. I looked also in the computer's properties and there's no info. And this computer is pretty outdated, but I can't update it because of Kernel32 and some other unknown bugs . I think I will need to format and REINSTALL Windows... Maybe As i suspected you are probab;y missing Service Packs...which will create this error... BTW You didn't answer the question....Open Explorer and from the File Menu select Help/About Windows and report BACK with your findings...Additional information can also be found here. Thanks! I will LOOK at that. |
