Solve : laptop blank and power light is on?

1.	Solve : laptop blank and power light is on?
Answer» can someone pls HELP me..two days ago,i wokred with my laptop(acer aspire1) and off it savely. OPENING it on the following day,the screen just black as if its not on...whereas the power LIGHT is on and fan is rolling. i off it several times and on it,still showing same BLANK screen. thxCan you tell whether Windows is actually starting up even if the screen is blank. Does it make the usual startup noises, do you hear the Windows startup sound?its not MAKING any sound of coming up when i start it.....only the fan that is rolling as is something is about to booth.
