Solve : laptop boot? |

Answer» my HP omnibook 500 will only boot if i pull out the hardrive on switching on then SHOVE it back in strait away..its pefect other than that..any IDEAS... tog77...When u state "will only boot if i pull out the hardrive on switching on then shove it back in strait away" Do u mean the HDD is removed and not attach to the LT (laptop)? If this is what u mean check your BIOS setting. It might be looking for some other boot device or configuration. Also check the order in which it is attempting to boot from or looking to boot too USB device, external HDD etc?ok,thanks i will try this..will be in touch soon... tog77 it actually SWITCHES off if i don't pull out the hardrive for a second then push it back in.. tog77When's the last time this laptop was DROPPED and can you approximate what height it was from ? ? |
