Solve : laptop compaq presario? |

Answer» whenever i start up the computer it gives me the compaq screen the TELLS me " no operating system found" i can get to a HELP screen that is no help. i have run a system registry and a disk scan. it tells me all is well, but cannot find the os. how is this possible? what do i do?well try to remove the floppy if there is one.. and then reboot w/o the floppy...thats the most CASES,other then that ....press f8 on boot up...go into safe mode.....and see if u can log onto your comp that way...What happened prior to this? Safe Mode MAY be helpful if you can get there, but no operating system found can indicate a bad hard drive or (LESS likely) a controller failure, or other things. |
