Answer» For some weird reson, when i turn on my laptop and select the user, it begins to log on, but will not finish, before it FINISHES, the screen TURNS black, and it re-starts. it will not open windows. it will, however, turn on in safe mode. anybody know why its doing this,a nd how to fix it?What operating SYSTEM are you using? It starts up ok for now, so hopefully I wont have any more problems. Once I got it going, it said it had a SERIOUS system problem and wanted me to notify microsoft. then when i tried to send the error report, it said something about the report being corrupt. ?? any idea why its doing this? thanks for the help anyways, just glad i got it to boot up! You may need to scan for virus,malware Etc..... Could be a nasty-thingie that was saved in restore. Run defrag and scandisk first.
