Answer» Greetings! LONG time no chat. I'm running Win7Pro on an Acer Veritron with an Intel i3. I was ONE of the last=minute Win 10 downloaders and got the notice it failed. No prob there, I'm happy w/my 7Pro, which has been running normally since the failed download. However, the most recent Win Defender update is showing 42.3 MB SIZE, and when I CLICK on it to start download, the message switches to "Downloading Windows 10--installng files" (not 10Pro, which is what I should be getting). SOMETHING seems fishy. Is this a real WinDefender update or is MS trying to pull a fast one on me? |
