I am on a particular web page (any web page) and I click a link and I see the hour glass etc. but it never seems to make the connection link. I click stop and notice that the link I wanted shows up in the address bar. I highlite the address in the address bar and hit enter and WALLA I get my link that way and fairly fast also. What do you think is going on?Your OS? Scanned for Viruses & Spyware Lately? DONE anything damaging to your computer?OS is Win 98 and yes last night I scanned with AVG, Spybot search and destroy and Ad Aware SE.Hit Enter without highlighting the address bar. Do you have a new ISP? Have you made any changes to your hardware/software recently, or have you noticed any other problems or strange behaviour?

Which browser are you using? Have you TRIED another?

Have you checked your security settings to make sure they aren't changed or too high (firewall, internet, virus scanners...)?

Have you checked to make sure you have sufficient drive space (10-20% or more) available. Are you running many/any other processes/applications?
