Ok, i got home from the STORE tonight, with a new game in hand, and i go to my computer and i SEE that my computer needs reset after a virus scan, with Norton 360, and then i reset it. When it starts again, it goes to the desktop then it logs out, i log back in, and it logs me out when it touches the desktop screen, then i hit login, and it just repeats over and over and over, its extremely annoying and i would like help fixing it.

IM not really sure on the model and stuff since it is a old casing with new insides. I have Windows XP with the latest SP.

DinithraCan you get into safemode?I TRIED that after i tried to get on the first time, none of the other modes work.Have you tried Last Known Good Configuration?

You said that your computer needed restarting after a virus scan. I used to have Norton, and never had to restart after a scan. Is this something that happens often?I did LKGC but it didnt work either, and Norton asks me to restart after it finds a a big virus already on the computer or is in a file, so that it can fully remove it.
