Solve : lost file?

Upon getting a virus and trying to delete the virus I LOST the clsid file in my registry. HELP PLEASE!
I no longer have a desk top.
Running Vista Business version
Any backups at all ? ?my thery mihgt not be true but ive hade a large virus(its gone) infecton and it pops up those errors when i start up but i think that those are removed virus files(pato correct me if im wrong)

It is my WORK laptop, and yes our IT person has the back ups. Due to the holiday I am unable to contact them.

she doesn't describe any errors, so I'm not sure how your getting the same ones or even know so.
