Solve : lost installation disc? |

Answer» We have a DELL Dimension desktop PC (purchased in March 2005) running Win XP serv. pk 2. The OS NEEDS to be re-installed and we can't find the disc. I have an HP COMPAQ Presario notebook PC(purchased in March 0006) also running Win XP serv. pk 2. Can I use the disc from the laptop to re-install the OS to the desktop PC? ---and; if not , what can I do?Your BIOS on one won't accept the other if it is a restore disk.
