I have had a problem with my new Acer Aspire LAPTOP and needed to reformat it. However, after DELETING the partitions and installing windows, I realised I was using the wrong cd- a version of xp professional from another computer. The license key will not work with this version and I do not have a recovery DISK. I cannot access the erecovery by pressing alt+f10, it does nothing. I assume this is because I deleted the partitions.
Please advise me on how I can fix this problem. Am I able to get a replacement recovery disk at all?
ThanksIf you have deleted the Recovery Partition, it looks like you will have to purchase a LICENSED copy of Windows.Immediately contact Acer and let them know what has HAPPENED...
