Answer» I currently have 60 processes running (including firefox and windows media player). My grandfather (a computer EXPERT) says that my computer should only be running around 30...I have no idea why so many are running, but which ONES do I need to keep running, because I'd like to lower the amount running (to hopefully speed my computer up a bit). Attached is a screenie of my taskmanager.Nothing is attached. Your NUMBER of processes is not extraordinary. Download Process Explorer: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx Unzip ProcessExplorer.zip, and double click on procexp.exe to run the program. Click on View > Select Colunms. In addition to already pre-selected options, make sure, the Command Line is selected, and press OK. Go File>Save As, and save the REPORT as Procexp.txt. Attach the file to your next reply.
