Answer» I have a Compaq desktop pc and I'm running WIndows XP. I'm getting a message that I'm low on virtual MEMORY. We just added 256 megabytes of ram and I was getting this message before that upgrade and I'm still getting that message. I have a total of 512 MB of RAM. How do I fix this?? Thanks! AmandaRight click My Computer, select Properties, ADVANCED, under PERFORMANCE select Settings, Advanced, then, under Virtual Memory click Change. Increase you virtual memory to 768 MB.
