Answer» I had an issue (software I think) with my machine. Superdave, Allan and Patio helped me by SHOWING me the way to MalwareBytes. Now it's running better than NEW. My question: Would Malwarebytes be a good tool to keep on my machine and run on occasion? I am thinking of buying a copy. Can I use it on my wife's laptop as well as my desktop? What HAPPENS to the registery when I format the HDD? I have TWO real drives and two virtual drives in my machine. It will boot from either of the real drives. I format the virtual drives when they fill up. So far I have not erased my operating system. Isn't Windows resident on the real drives? Forgive me for being so longwinded... Copas
