My windows error of the week. Doesn't only happen with manhunt (a pc game) but with other programs as well, once in a while.

I can play for a bit until I get to a certain spot and it just freezes and closes. The result is the window: manhunt.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows.

any ideas on fixes?Scan for viruses and spyware.

What are your system temperatures?

Run a diagnostic check on your RAM.No spyware/viruses/adware, PC is relatively new so no dust etc., I'm in a cold dry basement with 2 internal fans plus the fan on my VIDEO card, so TEMP is not an issue. RAM working FINE.

It's not an issue of the game freezing because of temp, or spyware etc., because this will happen with random programs sometimes. Like...firefox, or winamp etc. Quote
