Though most of the specs i stated probley dont effect my problem i thought id just shove everything i KNOW up there.
Right i decided to reinstall my computer. As it states up there i have a 320gig hardrive.
But for some reason when i go to install windows xp\create paritions it says The MAXIMUM size for the new partition is 131062 megabytes <MB>"
Why wont it let me just install it on its full size of 320gig? I have never had this problem before. =\

Theres nothing on it.What is the make and model of your motherboard? What is the make and model of your hard drive? You need SERVICE Pack 2 installed in order to recognize the full size of your hard drive.

I just installed all of the service packs. I have service pack 3 now. So its not that.

I looked on the INSTRUCTION booklet of my mother borad. It says "ASUS M2N-X PLUS X Series"
"WESTERN DIGITAL Carviar SE 3.5 320G SATA 2" Is the hardive.

Also, a friend of mine told me to click start > run > and type "diskmgmt.msc" and press enter...
