Buy a new, better hard drive. Put in you computer and do a full install of Windows XP. Then install only the programs you really need and use. The boot time will be much better when you are done. Not much you can do to speed up the Pentium 4. There are some things you can do to reduce the Windows XP load time.
Buy a new, better hard drive. Put in you computer and do a full install of Windows XP. Then install only the programs you really need and use. The boot time will be much better when you are done.

Get you data off of the OLD drive. Make it a slave drive.
