Answer» When I boot up, I get this message: mprexe has caused an error in DRAW32.DLL. Mprexe will now close.
I click ok and the boot up proceeds.
I have reinstalled Me, the operating system. I have erased passwords, and run VIRUS scans by Norton, which is installed, and Trend Micro, via the Internent. But the message before boot up returns.
Any help in getting rid of this message would be appreciated. Also, The Me has gotten slower and more UNSTABLE. Is it time to switch to another system? Hi, I have ME as well draw32.dll doesn't seem to be on my 'puter and certainly not running at boot.
Did the virus scans find anything? Can you scan mrpexe.exe and draw32.dll at http://virusscan.jotti.dhs.org ?
If this is a nasty then it is likely to be a trojan (either opaserv or haxdoor).
Search google for mrpexe +draw32.dll and all the RESULTS are trojan RELATED. Perhaps downloading the trial version of TDS 3 from http://diamondcs.com.au will help.
Derek.you system has become slower for many reason....first of the bunch norton anti-virus.....which hogs your hard drive SPACE.....or ok here is was you could do.....disable system restore scan for trojans.....try singer.....dump themes 31 mbs do you need them all dump the screensavers?? just something to make you think of?? if you upgrading has some people have done....a trojan/spyware etc will make the system whatever it is unstable..
