Answer» Hey, this is william palumbo again, heh. I just wanted to thank you GUYS for helping me with my sound card problem, i ended up just buying a new one. Now when i start my computer, my microphone doens't WORK, i have to test hardware before it works. Is there a way to MAKE it so it stays working? Is there a way to make it so it stays working? By handing out more information, yeah.When you first start up, open Volume Control or Playback Mixer, open the PROPERTIES menu, and select Record Mixer so you can control the sound INPUTS. Make sure your microphone, line in, wave player, and midi synth, as a minimum, are open in Record Mixer. Select the microphone to make it the current sound input. If you have trouble making the Record Mixer hold the setting, try QuickMix, a little program that snapshots your sound card settings in script files that can be run to set the sound card to desired settings with single clicks of shortcuts. |
