Answer» Hello so i just downgraded from Vista to XP... b4 my headset was working properly, but now only the headphones WORK.. its not usb.. its the ones that has 2 plugs. my audio DRIVER is: realtek ALC888/S/T @ nVIDIA MCP61 - High Definition Audio Controller driver does any1 know whats up with my MIC? is it the new driver? ps. they work good on other pc also when i record myself i can hear.. but in COUNTER strike / ventrilo it gives this HUGE noise that its like if its brokenDid you double-check to make sure that is an XP driver not one for Vista ? ? If it is try re-installing it...did you try opening the SOUND options under control panel and adjusting that volume?
