Answer» I am using Microsoft WINDOWS XP Ver 2002 with service pack 2, Compac Presario Pentium(R) CPU 2.53GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM. I have my system configure to download updates automatically, but I decide when to install them. Back in Jul/07 a bunch of updates were released by Microsoft, two of them were KB928366 & KB 928367, for some reason they were not installed and since then I have attempted to figure out why with no success. The update symbol has remained in my system TRAY and has TRIED to install these two updates numerous times with no joy. How do I (a) install these updates or (b) failing that remove the update symbol from my system tray? Thank you for any help you can provide. At LEAST you're not alone....untold numbers of people have had the same issue... An Article on the issue including the workaround and an 800 # for Microsoft.
