Solve : Microsoft 7?

Answer»

I brought my computer and it had microsoft 7 installed. Now I am getting a message saying it is not genuine, I can't get in touch with the man I brought it from. Any suggestions.Sorry to hear about your dilemma. The only suggestion I can make is buy a legitimate copy of win 7. However, you might also call Microsoft and explain this to them. I believe, in some situations, they will ISSUE a valid product key to you so that you can legally use your edition of Windows. Info at HTTP://support.microsoft.com/kb/295539 may be helpful in contacting MS.And also this a lesson in purchasing computers from third party people. If you don't have the know how to check if everything is legit on a computer from a private seller then don't purchase it.
Strictly speaking the seller has no obligation now to provide legitimate software as I'm sure it was purchased 'as is'.
He can always argue that is was fine when he sold it.

Warning to all.Does the computer have any product license label?
If so, is it Windows 7?Ware did you buy this Computer?Quote from: Carlos Medrano on August 14, 2010, 07:08:32 PM

Ware did you buy this Computer?

Impeccable spelling there...... and punctuation. ¡Carlos Pendejo! Is this Billrich as well?
Appears to be...I called him Carlos Mierdador which he doesn't seem to have picked up on. I don't think I like his APPARENT belief that it is plausible to pretend to be an IDIOT if he uses a Spanish SOUNDING name.
