Answer» Unable to download windows updates. Keeps FREEZING at 11% and shows error code 80073712. Anyone out there having the same problem and what's the cure? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957310 Lots of other posts with cries for help. One person took a Vista thread and TRIED to APPLY Vista fix to 7 unsuccessfully etc. Do you have any restore points you can roll back to and then try the update again to see if you can roll back to a time when it wasnt corrupt?Do you have enough FREE space on your HARD drive to install the update?
