Solve : Microsoft Outlook E-mail? |
|
Answer» Hiya, When receiving an e-mail to which you want to reply without including the initial messages - does anyone know to do it? I usually just send a new message each time, typing out the address again because the reply button includes all previous messages and after several replies back and forth it ends up being so large and messy. Wouldn't it be grrrrrreat to be able to hit the reply button while excluding all that had gone before? Can it be done? If it can, and you know how to do it, please share your knowledge with me; I'd be sooooooo grateful! Cheers!Yes it can be done. What version of Outlook do you have? To find out, go to Help, About Microsoft Outlook. RIGHT on top it should tell you what version you have. I use Outlook 2003 and to do it in this version, click tools, options. In the PREFERENCES tab, click Email options..., towards the middle of the box there should be a section that says on replies and forwards. Click the down arrow under when replying to a message and change that to do not include original message. Hope this helps.Hi Panda25, It's for my PC at work and I'm at home now. I'll look tomorrow to see what version I have. I only started there on Monday and today I was asked to find out by whatever means I can; I think it's 2007. I'm sure this will work so I'd like to say a big fat thank you......you're the BEST! |
