I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling Outlook, enterned the name, password and server information numerous times, deleting the account and starting over. Nothing works, I dont know what else to do. Nothing works.Do you have some sort of firewall using that port or any other applications that is using that port. SECOND is your providers SMTP working? How long have you had this problem? Who is your mail provider?The e-mail is through the company who hosts our website. When they set-up the account with me, they gave me all the information I needed to put into outlook. It has never worked, I use the WEBMAIL. I tried contacting them a couple of times with this problem and they tried to figure out what was wrong but didnt find anything. I tried changing the firewall settings, that didnt work. Hi all, I have now found out what the problem was, after checking my setting loads of time I tried leaving off the 3 in pop3 and that was it , Job done. I think because it stated :- Find outing mail server (smtp) Completed Find incoming server (pop3) Failed everywhere I just typed that in without thinking :-? anyway thanks for all your help Ned

ILOTA sounds like you should be posting in a new topic unless your the same guy.
