Im trying to display a background image in an email using outlook 2003 and for some reason the image will not display whenever I open it in a gmail account email.

This may help-apparently only the CSS APPROACH WORKS in Outlook.Thank you for the help.
Im still having trouble what are the steps I need to do in order to use these techniques in Outlook. How do I get the my HTML code into the outlook message?I am honestly not as well-versed in HTML as some of the other members on this forum are; but I will try my best.
