Answer» Hi, I'm trying to play Fallout New VEGAS, and when trying to launch it (from Steam), it comes up with a dialogue saying "Performing first time setup... Installing: Microsoft VC Redist Package (step 1 of 1). Then windows installer pops up saying: "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other REMOVABLE disk that is not available. Insert the 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.17 disk and CLICK OK. The same dialogue pops up when trying to repair or uninstall Visual C++ from an installer. I'm running Windows Home Premium 64 bit. Any ideas what's causing this? I've posted on other forums and haven't received an answer that works yet! Thanks for reading
