When I "right CLICK" any photoghaph to select the "open with" option I receive this error MESSAGE.

An application has made an attempt to load the c runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.

I then have to click the "OK" button in the dialog box to close it before I can do anything else, then the full LIST of a options opens up. If you then right click the same picture you do not get the error message again you get the normal right clice options.

O.S. XP Pro. SP3.
AMD Athlon(tm) 64X2dual core processor
4200+2.2.1GHz 3GB Ram.

I only get this problem with photographs regardless of the file formats and I would appreciate any advise.

Have your XP CD handy...it will ask for it.
Let it run to completion and re-boot.Hi patio, thanks for your reply but I do not have an XP CD, what will your sugestion do exactly? is this some sort of a scan funtion that comes on the XP installation CD?
