I need to install a NEW password , so that I can open Win 2000 pro. How can I do that ?
I'm not understanding.... Can you even get into your account? Do you want to just change the password? Set one?

 Go to the above URL and DOWNLOAD this utility.  This will ALLOW you to change the Windows 2000 password without having to know the original, which I am assuming you do not!   speedypc....
