Solve : Missing email files in Outlook Express?

Hi all,

I seem to have lost all the items in two of my Outlook Express folders.
The inbox files are ok but a sub folder with about 40 items in it is now empty
My Sent Items folder is also empty.
All the other folders are ok.

I haven't deleted anything so where has everything disappeared to?

I recall a message box coming up last week asking if I wanted to compact files to save space and I clicked on ok.
I don't know if that would have anything to do with it.

Hope somebody can help me trace these files

If COMPACTING procces was interrupted, it might messed up your mail folders.
