Answer» I downloaded a very popular"Free Download"program for editing video.After I found it wassen't what I needed,I tried to remove it.My Threatfire program popped up & said:This proogram is tring to copy itself to other parts of your computer!-allow!,-"*censored*-No"!..So I go to the programs Website.It says You Need A Product"KEY"to re- move this program.. >:(So I look for a program to remove that one.Found one that said:It can even remove windows programs!I'm thinking"COOL",This should take care of the problem..I MEAN WHY should I have to PAY for a"key"If I don't want it,& haven't used it-RIGHT?so the remove program"could not even find it",But it showed me some other stuff-like dll's & crapp It said I didn't need..So I Pushed yes delet!. Then I said to my self,-"Self",just format the drive,You have the E-machine's disk that came with it.So I formatted C:.Then I find out my backup ALSO has copy's of that *censored* program on it,So format-Right!..WRONG!.After I loaded the factory disk up,It say's:Windows cannot load;Missing or Corruptsence my 2 year warrenty is xspired..I'm F'd!.I'v tried to USE my old win.2000 pro floppys-by transferring them to disk on another computer,But it still comes up with the same read-out.."Is there no way I can fix this without buying a new XP or Vista program.Dell should help,It was there preloaded XP program in the first place.But they won't,Not for free..And in the end i'll have to buy the whole program.Unless I can get a whole copy of XP,I have the"key",But that's only for XP home addition.."HELP!"....1. 2. If you don't have Windows CD... Download Windows Recovery Console: http://www.thecomputerparamedic.com/files/rc.iso Download, and INSTALL free Imgburn: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download Using Imgburn, burn rc.iso to a CD. Boot to the CD...let it finish loading. When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to start the Recovery Console. Then, follow the steps from here: http://icrontic.com/articles/repair_windows_xp, starting below this picture on page 1:
