Solve : Missing space on my computer... not just the regular stuff? |
|
Answer» I officially have 640 gigs of space on my hard drive... i know there is a DISCREPENCY with BINARY and language and stuff so that puts the ACTUAL space at 584 gigs on my C drive. Out of that I am missing about 160 gigs of space. Computer says I have filled 507/584 on my C drive and when I go into my C drive and hover over the USERS file it says it is 343 gb of space so that means somewhere in the other folders I have 163 gigs of space... of the otehr files none are significantly large except for the PROGRAMS files which only have about 10 gigs between them. The system restore has not been set up so I'm not losing space there... Where should I look? It's almost certainly the restore points (in the System Volume Information Folders). You can download TreeSize and see where everything is Disable volume shadow copy.Quote from: Kings on February 22, 2010, 12:40:00 AM Disable volume shadow copy. ... which will do absolutely nothing to solve the problem.
