Solve : Mouse and error message? |
|
Answer» We installed a usb mouse on our IBM pc and took off the PS/2 mouse. Now WHENEVER we start the pc, we get an error message before anything else that the computer cannot FIND the PS/2 mouse. We have XP pro. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it? We tried finding and deleting the software, but couldn't find it. Thanks for any help.Purchase a little adaptor to enable you to plug it back into the PS2 PORT where all mice should live.If that's an IBM there should be a setting in BIOS to disable the PS/2 mouse. (F1 at boot.)Thank you very much! That worked. We're grateful for the help.
