Solve : mouse software problem? |

Answer» Running win 98 in safemode the ps-2 mouse works. but in windows it does not, mouse properties says I am missing driver file vmouse.VXD and to reload windows. I do that but the mouse will still not work. what is wrong???. Try a different mouse?Insert windows CD (hold down shift key to prevent autorun). Then start/run/sfc. SELECT EXTRACT one file from disk. follow prompts.Remove the mouse ENTRY from the DEVICE MANAGER, reboot & let windows redetect it. |
