Solve : Move Folders / HDD Full? |
|
Answer» HELLO: I have a DELL Laptop. The HDD has two volumes as follows: OS (C:) 60 GB FULL Local Disk (D:) 396 GB free of 397 GB So most of the folders and Files are on C:. Only some DELL EULA and Service Agreements are on D:. I would think that C: should be the larger VOLUME and where user files are kept. Is there any way to make C: larger, or should I move user files to D:? Thanks.Post a SCREENSHOT of Disk management... Who set this machine up ? ?It's a friends notebook I'm WORKING on. I'm doing a chkdsk /r right now so it'll be awhile before I can post a screenshot ... but I can tell you that disk C: on top has a horizontal bar that is red because it's full and disk D: on bottom is white.60G on C: 390G on D:.... Oh well...I'm always so pleased to get "oh well" because I know exactly what my options are now.I found a freeware partition changing utility called gparted. Thanks anyway. |
