Answer» i want to move a lot of SHORTCUTS for games from the desktop and put them into a folder. and then put that folder or a shortcut to the folder back on the desktop
i KNOW to right click the shortcut to SEND it to a folder but do i do the same with the folder , right click to go to desktop
and also would be possible to do this and would the games still work , also is there any tips i need to do it Create a folder named "Games" for EXAMPLE... Right clik all the shortcuts you need and send them to the Games folder.
Then right clik the Games folder and create a Desktop shortcut.thanks patio , i thought thats how to do it wanted to CHECK just incase , i'll let you know to-morrow how it wentGood enough...ok patio , thats done and they all work
if you click the windows logo in task bar and click games they are preloaded m/s games with win7 , is there any way of sending them to the desktop so that i can put them in the folder , i cannot find a way to do it Find each Games .exe in Windows Explorer and use the same method...right clik the .exe...create shortcut...send it to your Games folder.thank you patio it all went well , just trying to tidy the screen and make it easy for the grandson to find thingsTell him i said Hi..... he is only 8 and i'm amazed what these kids can do at that age on the pc and all these other gamers , when i was 8 we did'nt even have a TV if we wanted to play we went outside
