Answer» I am trying to move an installed copy of Windows XP (SP2) from a small hard drive to a larger one. I used Acronis' TrueImage to clone the small drive onto the large drive. After DEACTIVATING the small drive, when I try to boot from the larger drive I get the NTLDR is missing. What have I DONE wrong? What is the proper way to do this?Your 'copy' of Windows is still CONFIGURED to your old hard drive. A clean install is the way to go.Is this a replacement drive for the same COMPUTER? Or trying to put a Windows installation from one MACHINE to another? I am not clear on what you are trying to accomplish.
