Solve : Mp3?

Answer»

Hello i was trying to get my videos on to my mp3 player i got this to work with one of my mp3 players but the other one is a coby and only supports mtv format i found a avi to mtv converter but when i try to access the file on my mp3 is says it doesn't RECOGNIZES the format.

I'm surprised i can't find a converter TOOL for mtv format i never heard of that format before i thought coby was a very popular mp3 player brand.visit the site http://www.mtvconverters.com, there you can find lot of converters choose one that suits best for you.....That's a bogus link, the site doesn't display.I'm sorry i misspelt the site name its http://www.mtvconverter.comi told you dont mind those crazy people

try the psp video 9, ipod recognize the converted mtv there, look if theres a tool for your mp3, its free to download.Quote from: Crinale819 on November 09, 2009, 12:40:55 AM

Your psp 9 link didn't have a mp4 avi or anything like that to mtv function
Just curious - why is this in the XP forum?I guess i am looking for computer converter software so maybe it should be under computer software this sight really doesn't have anything i thought related to mp3s are mobile devices like phones are something not so computer related. James, what brand and model is your MP3 player? I think the one you cannot get to work is a Coby but what model?coby

Model no mp605-2G

I realized it came with a cd but the cd said usb installer but my computer recognized it so i didn't pop it in then realized when i put it in it came with a converter
but i have just tried this conversion tool and it doesn't work

The manual says
Use the video conversion software utitilty INCLUDED on the installation cd create video file are suitable for playback on your coby mp3

Your player supports mtv files with the following specifications 160x128 at 15 frames per second (fps)

For details instuctions and imformation about the video conversion software please refer to manual included on the installations cd

Note
the video converstion software is included for your convienience and is compatible with microsoft windows operating systems only there are MANY other video converstion utitltes avaliable download or purchase on the internet

It has alot of other crap i don't think is related

system requirements it says

Os support microsoft vista, xp. 2k What's that and me, 98 i have xp

memory (ram) 50mb i have 1.48 gbs

free hd space 100 mb. I'm not sure what that is

CPU PENTIUM class equivanlent or better

video Adapter capable of 24 bit color for quicktime support

dirext directx 9.0

Wmp windows MEDIA player 9 or better

1 Installation copy the folder mtv video converter to your computer
2 To start the software double click the file videoconvert.exe

WHAT two more pages well nothing i see here i don't think i'm not getting how to use it it shows a picture of the conversion software program and shows what all the buttons do

I did find out this in the manual

1 Start the video conversion program
2 select the source video to convert this file must be on of the following videos types avi asf mpeg-1 quicktime mov mpeg-2 realmedia rm rmvb 3GP

But i did use mpeg-1 and avi videos
