Solve : ms-dos needed outside of winxp? |

Answer» helloes, i am running a windows XP system thats gone bad and getting the BSOD too much, and i need to format/erase the entire partition. my dell restore CD will not boot itself, so i need to GO to a ms-dos and erase the drive. i do not have a floppy drive. i do have a usb HARD drive that is blank, is it possible to put the boot files on it and load from it? or do i need a ms-dos boot cd?You need to enter BIOS, and set CD drive to boot FIRST. Your computer make, and model needed. |
