By default when a word document is saved by clicking on the Save as option, the dialog pops up which has a list of save as file TYPE(file extension) drop down list. the default ones are .DOC, .html..rtf, ETC .....
I would like to have another customized file extension ie. something like .irpt
Could anyone tell me if its possible to add a new file extension in the ALREADY existing list?.....please lemme know in Windows explorer you can go to Tools-folder options->filetypes. there you can add your new extension then associate it with Word. When I open a new document, and when I save it, I need to save it by selecting the new file extension that I have added....
