Answer» Can anyone tell if MSN emails is still going or has it been taken over by Hotmail. Was the address BOOK held on the email server as I can't find it on a computer that used Msn email client. In FACT can't find Msn email client listed on any Mircosoft web sites.Msn and hot mail have always been one and the same and bouth are still running, and will be untill MS GO's under or the internet explodesBoth MSN and Hotmail are by The Microsoft Network. The only difference is that Hotmail is free, and MSN requires a subscription. MSN provides Dial-Up Internet and comes along with some DSL IPS's. (ANOTHER difference is if you get an msn.com or hotmail.com domain on your address) The address book is NORMALLY held on the web server. Sometimes, people have address books that they had on their computer that they did not sync with the MSN/Hotmail server.
