I ran AVG (anti virus program), Spybot, and CCleaner to correct some problems with my computer, but I was not sure what was attached to what (or how important it was), and now I have managed to ERASE my task bar and all desktop icons, and I no longer have a Start button. I have NO clue as to how to get this back. I need help, o Great Computer Geniuses... PLEASE?!?!?!?System RESTORE? Was any actual infection present?That means that Explorer.exe isn't STARTING with Windows as it should.
