Answer» Hello out there
I have an issue, not a big DEAL, but one I'd like to solve.
Each time I enter or change a page in IE7 , my cursor will sit and blink and click for a short time, and I have to wait on it to continue. It seems like the number of clicks KEEPS getting more all the time. I just dumped Norton for Avast, added a gig of new memory, deleted all registery cleaning programs, and cleaned up everything.
My speed increased a BUNCH but now I have all this clicking, which was there before, to an extent.
Any suggestions on eliminating this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks BucxDid you use the Norton Removal tool ? ? If not DLoad it and run it. Re-boot.Hi Patio
Thanks for the answer.
Yes, I did use the Norton Removal tool.
But I'm still getting all these clicks. I started counting them and they increase over time.
Any suggestions? bucxSounds like a pop up blocker is blocking sites.thanks karnac,
I thought of that. But if it is can I do anything different to eliminate it?Everyones been so helpful, I hate to ask the same question, but these clickity clicks are very annoying.
Anybody have a suggestion?? What happens with other browsers (Firefox, Opera, etc)? Also, are you using a third party ad blocker?Quote from: patio on August 12, 2009, 10:07:36 AM Did you use the Norton Removal tool ? ? If not DLoad it and run it. Re-boot.

You quoted yourself as if to repeat a point you already made. I just quoted the OP to say that was not necessary.
