Answer» Very frustrating! Regardless of the music player I use to play audio, I HEAR a garbled noise every minute on the minute. It seems as if there is a software program that is trying to start and is taxing my system each minute. Is there any diagnostic program where I can determine what is HAPPENING? Any suggestions at all? I have a TOSHIBA laptop running Vista Home Premium. Get into Task Manager and see what's running in the background. That's a first step.
