My Acer laptop 3 yrs old, shuts itself down in the MIDDLE of doing something,
It does it just anytime at all, doesn't seem to CARE what I am doing/
Then a blue screen comes up saying 'error' and has to CHECK FAT32 system,
and it runs through a whole bunch of stuff for 5 minutes or so, then comes back on
and box is there saying 'send error report'.
After sending error report, I see a message says it's a driver problem and there is
no fix for it/
I've been having this problem for about 4 mos now.
How do I fix it?
Mariunexpected shutdowns are common with faulty power supplies(because voltage drops below required amt to run pc).  if you have ANOTHER pc around, swap power supplies and see if it continues. Quote from: samcarney on July 02, 2008, 06:34:45 PM
