Solve : My computer freezes on the window screen? |

Answer» My sony VAIO will only reach the window screen and then freezes. it has been working OK about 3 weeks ago I installed AVG8 & Ccleaner and it worked ok after this. It was suggested to me that to cure this problem I ran the recovery disc which I did but after the disc has run and RESTARTS the computer it freezes up again, Have tried the recovery disc a couple of TIMES now, can anyone helpSame in Safe Mode?It loads so far then says "the system is not fully installed please run setup again"Check here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320279Cheers I will have a go tomorrow when I am not so tired, I am a bit nervous about working with the registry, having never done anything like this before, is it easy to do with your FINGERS crossed? |
